Lush Valentine’s Day Products 2014

In this post, I will be telling you all about this years lush products. Don’t forget to leave a like and comment if you enjoyed!

Valentine's Day

This years Valentine’s products look fab! They are all very different from last years products and I am very exited to try some of these products out!

Lush Valentine’s Bath  Products

Love Locket

A delightful looking bath bomb, inspired by a love locket! It has ingredients like Neroli oil and Jasmine absolute, which I’m guessing with give the bath bomb a very floral smell. Judging by customer views, however, (and the fact it has vanilla in it) it probably has a very sweet vanillary smell. This one is priced at £6.95 or $10.95

In the bath it has alot of soap, confeti hearts in it and, judging by the picture, it creates a very deep pink colour in the bath.

The Love Locket was inspired by the kind of heart-shaped locket you wear as a necklace, perhaps with a secret photograph of a loved one inside. In the same way, you have to unlock (crack open) this Love Locket bath bomb to reveal the secrets hidden within…

Soap

Neon Love Soap

This product is said to have a very tropical, fruity smell to it, so I cannot wait to try this one out! It also looks so pretty with all the heart shapes in! This one is priced at £4.25 (100g) or $6.95 (3.5 oz) I am so exited to try this one!

This is a unique soap with an uplifting, fruity fragrance. Bergamot and rosewood work together to create a rich scent, whilst fresh figs, passion fruit juice and soya yoghurt nourish and soften the skin.

Lush Valentine’s Massage Bars

Close To You

This massage bar is inspired by (yay) the JAMMY DODGER! Legend. It has Fair Trade Vanilla Absolute in it which is made from vanilla pods. This massage bar has the same smell as the creamy candy bubble bar! I am so exited to try this one. This is priced at £5.50 or $7.95

This smooshable massage bar is beautifully fragranced with Fair Trade vanilla absolute. Inspired by the humble Jammie Dodger biscuit – as you peek through the heart shaped hole on top of bar you can see into the sumptuous white fondant centre.

Tender is the Night

Not only did this massage bar appear last year, not only is it appearing this year, but it will now be joining the lush all-year range! This bar has a new look this year. It also has a really floral smell. It is priced at £6.50 or $11.95

Probably our most romantic product ever…with exquisite floral essential oils and a beautiful floral fragrance to leave your skin smelling absolutely divine. Re-launching for Valentine’s Day, this product will be staying on permanently.

Other Lush Valentine’s Products

Prince Charming

Now this shower gel look really good! Smelling of marshmallow and pomegranate, it sounds so good, I wish it would become an all-year-round product, like it’s raining men! It contains actual pomegranate juice, which sounds delicious! It is priced at £4.65 (100g) or $9.95 (fl.oz).

Lip care

The Kiss- lip gloss

Another product coming back for another year, this gloss is packed with soft butters like the moisturising Shea butter. I didn’t like the look of this last year, but this year I can’t wait to try it! I always stay away from lip gloss because it is so sticky and drying. However, according to customer reviews, this is not the case with lush’s lip gloss. It is priced at £5.75 or $9.25

I hope you enjoyed this post! I spent allot of time getting all this information, prices, links and pictures so I would really appreciate it if you left a like or even a comment. If you are new to the blog, why not subscribe!? And one last thing, I will not be moving this blog to another account.

A bubble bar on my wishlist: Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds

My mum is a massive fan of this bubble bar, which is the same size as the comforter, and the other day, I could smell it really strongly after my mum had a bath. It had such a relaxing but fresh smell to it, which is really hard to describe.

One of the ingredients is Patchouli Oil, which is extracted from the dried grass of the Pogostemon cablin plant.  Shown below…….

Patchouli is a really bushy plant, which is part of the mint family so this means the bubble bar has a minty smell to it. It mainly grows in Asia but also grows in Indonesia, China and the Philippines. Patchouli is used in perfumes mainly today, for its great smell, but it is also used in allot of lush products because of it’s relaxant properties. Patchouli oil is also used in the ‘Karma’ range from Lush.

Another oil used is, Cinnamon Leaf Oil. It is extracted from trees, mainly in Indonesia, that can grow up to 45 feet tall. However, the oil is located towards the bottom of the plant, rather than the top. The trees have little green leaves, white flowers and purple berries.

The oil, as probably guessed, has a rich spicy smell which makes it popular in allot of lush products like New shampoo bar , Wiccy Magic Muscles and Volcano foot mask.

According to the website, it turns your water sky blue and the patches of bubbles will be like the clouds.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I can’t wait to buy this one!

Dragons egg bath ballistic

This bath ballistic is amazing. It smells lemony and tropical and looks like a daragons egg with all the colours in it. I have already used this so a review will be coming soon 😉

£3.20 (UK) $6.25 (USA)

does any one else think that this reminds you of creme eggs?

The carrot- reusable bubble bar

It litreally looks like a carrot, but smells like blackcurants but citrusy and lemony at the same time! I have never tried a reusable bubble bar before but they always have them for their limeted edition range.

£4.95 (UK) $7.95 (USA)

Shine so bright- hair balm for split ends

Part of their new hair care range; rub on to split ends.

£4.50 (UK) $9.95 (USA)

The Godmother Soap

I bought this soap because of its amazing smell! It smells of sweets, vanilla and a hint of fruityness. It shares the scent with snow fairy and the candy fluff egg.

£2.95- 100g (UK) $6.40- 3.5oz (USA)

Whipstick lip balm

I have been wanting to try one of lushes lip balms or scrubs for a while now and after trying them, tasting and smelling them all (yes they put flavouring in them) this one really did float my boat! It smells of terrys chocolate orange (yum) and tastes sweet and sugary (yum)!

£5.50 (UK) $7.25 (USA)

That was all I got from lush! Have a great Easter…

Top 10 part 6

At 5 it is sweetie pie shower jelly. I adore lushes shower jellies and this one is simply the best. It smells so fresh and fruity that it feels like you could eat it… don’t though! It has a gorgeous purple colour with purple sparkles in and in the shower smells like cherries and blackcurrants; the same scent as the comforter. It lathers up nicely and leaves your skin feeling (drum-roll please) AMAZING! You have to try this 😀

mini mini lush haul!

I went shopping today and spent my allowance on lush 😀 All the staff there were very nice, I got to see a demo of the enchanter bath ballistic. It was amazing however, I didn’t like the smell very much. The lady also talked through all the bath bombs and bubble bars, what they smelt like and what they do. I would totality recommend going into the lush shop and not ordering online because I love the in-store experience.

The first thing I got is one of my favourites and has been a re-buy many times…

Creamy candy bubble bar

103-Creamy Candy

This costs £2.50 or $7.40 This is one of the cheapest bubble bars in the UK.This smells really nice and candy like. Its smells exactly the same as the rock star soap

The next thing I got was the rock star soap. It smells of candy and is a beautiful light pink colour. I was deciding between this and the godmother and this was my favourite.

Rock star soap

334-Rockstar-Bubble

for 100g it is £3.40 or $7.95

The last thing I got was the honey bee bath ballistic. This smells like honey which is one of my favourite smells from lush.

honey bee bath bomb

202-Honey-Bee-Water-640-x-587

202-Honey-Bee

This costs £3.15 or $6.45

Hopefully I will be doing reviews on all of these products very soon.

An Easter wishlist

So with Easter, coming up soon I can’t wait to try out some of their products! Here is a list… (does not include all the Easter items but I’ll upload them later :D)

The Brightside bubble bar (£4.25 each)

Instead of getting the reusable bubble bar, I wanted to get this one because, I think it will be better value for money. I’m guessing the size and shape is the same as the comforter and blue skies and fluffy white clouds. Also, it appears to have a similar orangey citrusy smell like red FUN, which I have and love.

6296-Always-look-on-the-bright-side-overhead-640-x-587

Everything’s bright about this bubble bar, from the swirling orange and red colour to the juicy citrus fragrance. Simon calls this scent ‘Triple Orange’, and it’s easy to see why – close your eyes and you can imagine you’re lying in a sunny orange grove (without the danger of falling fruit landing on your head!) If you prefer to keep your eyes wide open, you’ll enjoy the sight of vivid orange water and mountains of foamy bubbles.

Easter egg hunt- soap (£3.40-100g, £8.50 250g, £17.00 500g)

I love the look of this soap (as below)! It looks soo colourful with all the Easter eggs hidden on top and inside. Its meant to smell like raspberry and I have had a few things from other stores which smell of raspberry (and that’s a good smell)!

6298-Egg-hunt-soap-640-x-587

A whole truckle of this looks like a giant lawn studded with Easter Eggs ready to be found. You don’t have to look very hard though – there are loads of them – making this a very impressive-looking soap!Easter Egg Hunt is fragranced with the same raspberry perfume as our Mother’s Day Mumkin bubble bar. The sweet fruitiness makes this soap a brilliant Easter gift for anyone who’s trying to avoid chocolate this year. You could even try hiding pieces around the house for your family to find on Easter Sunday – it’d be an Easter Egg Hunt Hunt!

6298-Easter-Egg-Hunt-Soap-640-x-587

Fluffy egg bath bomb (£2.95)

I wanted this one because of the scent. I love all the sweet candy smells from lush and I’m keen to try out new bath bombs. The price is very reasonable too.

154-Fluffy-Egg-New-640-x-587

Drop this egg-squisite* bath bomb into a tub full of warm water and enjoy wallowing in the sweet as candy waters. A superb Easter treat for big and little kids alike, Fluffy Egg is a must have for fans of all things sweet, too.

Henata bath bomb (£4.50)

I really want this one because it is (apparently) packed full of surprises including a mini egg ballistic, soap flower confetti and green glitter. Also, it shares the same scent as the red FUN. For the price, it is quite good value because it has lots off stuff in it and it looks quite big.

Mexican piñatas are colourful model animals that children smash to reveal hidden sweeties inside. It’s a lot of fun, and we wanted to create our own version for the bath. We chose a cheerful chicken and called her Henata! Smash her against the side of your bath for an explosion of wonderful surprises – a mini ballistic egg, a blooming big bunch of soap paper flowers and a shower of green glitter.

Sweetie Pie

Body Lotion

If a bar of soap and a bottle of shower gel had a steamy affair, this would be the resulting jelly baby

Cherries, coconut, jelly and sparkles – this is a party in a pot.  Makes every day feel like it’s your birthday.

This is a sweet, sweet little cutie-pie.  We start this jelly by making an infusion with cherries and coconut, we then add carrageen seaweed and boil it up until it turns all jelly and wobbly on us. Then we have to get it into the mould quickly, before it sets in the pan !
